Naked Mega7800.

Light gun support in and working for the Mega7800! You can now use your MegaDrive and Master System controllers through one neat little adapter!

Pretty much the final form factor for the Mega7800 MegaDrive pad adapter for the 7800. The final case will be injection moulded and the artwork improved on the label…

Finally, I am happy the 7800GD hardware is solid! The last PCB alterations have been made and I’m getting production samples ordered!

Next I feed to finalise the case and get the injection moulds made. That bit is always a bit buttock clenching given the massive cost.

This is interesting. Given C compilation for the 6502 is pretty poor (although I'm sure I've seen some better examples?) this makes an interesting higher level language. Although I have grown to actually like 6502 now I've been using it for some time...

Oh no, I've just thought of a way to make a far more accurate light gun sampler for the 7800 using the Mega7800.
And it could also convert a Sega Light Phaser to work with the 7800 directly as well.
Crap, like I haven't got enough to do!

This is cool, I do like new old-style computers. I will get around to doing my 68000 based machine eventually!
