Gotta love Rhayader's retro merchandise! Thinking about it I've even been to Rhayader for a mountain bike race, but sadly missed this amazing shop. I did visit the mountain bike shop for spare bits, though... 🙂

You can tell your kids are getting older when their top priority for refitting their bedroom is a fast internet connection!! Cat5e going in behind the skirting. I'm a good dad, lol... 😆

I saw a number plate earlier with LEX on it and suddenly remembered the sci-fi series Lexx. Does anyone remember this?! I remember it being awesome. An undead assassin, an alien sex slave, a sex crazed robot head -- it had it all! 😆 @gamingmuso @GadgetUK164 @TristaBytes

@frostman007 @RetroRGB @JayMewes @ThatKevinSmith He is a legend. I've not seen the newer stuff, Jersey Girl on (I've missed a lot!), but the old stuff was bloody awesome. Just something about it. Reminds me of a time... shit that makes me feel old. 😆

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back has to be one of my favorite films! Whenever someone says rap, my mind automatically says "mother mother fuck, mother mother fuck, mother fuck mother fuck, noish noish noish". 😆 Mallrats was another favorite. And Dogma. And....

@furrtek Nothing more frustrating than building a board up and finding its a PCB issue. 🙄

@Uncle_Jody Its funny how at the time I'd have given anything to have the technology we have now. But weirdly, once technology becomes mainstream, it gets completely ruined. I'm happy I grew up when I did! There's nothing better than a bit of low level hacking... it's why I still do it. 😁

@Uncle_Jody Lol, technology has moved so fast recently you have to be quite old to remember CD's.... 😉

What is it about cassette tapes which makes me think there's amazing games on there just waiting to be coaxed out with the correct volume and tone settings?! I don't get that feeling selecting a game on PSN... 🤔
I have to finish polishing it up, but I've ported the wonderful "Ultimate Tape Archive" project version 1.0 to emulation at the Archive. Over 400 fully scanned and digitized Commodore 64 Tapes and Packaging, and emulated in the browser at TAPE SPEED.

Months of soldering and tinkering and finally...the SHARP #X68000 lives! Special thanks to @leonkiriliuk for his support!
I’m taking preorders for the #AtariLynx programmer board now. You need a #RaspberryPi to use it and it can read/write flash carts as well as being able to read most Lynx carts. #Linux knowledge a must 😎 👉👉 👾 #HardwareHacking #WPUGamers

@TristaBytes @NewWaveToys Slightly jealous. 😆 I got rid of my JAMMA cab many years ago now, I need more arcade in my life! Not that it could play Tempest, mind you. There's something very cool about vector displays... and spiny knobs.

On a @Halestorm vibe, it's great being a parent being able to influence your children and introduce them to great things. My eldest daughter (just 10 atm) is a fan of Halestorm and has said "I didn't know women could sing like that". Too fucking right they can. 😆🤘🏻

@bwi007 @3DPRINTUK For an upgrade shell, it's going to be around £8-10 + postage. This is basically at cost including packaging and time. I'm aware it's not *super cheap*, but they are a very high quality cases, and SLS printing is a bit of a premium over FDM! 🙂

There's something special about new physical releases for old systems and it's great to see support appearing for those who want to create their own products. There's nothing like having a tangible product of your own, especially in this day and age of electronic distribution!
The original (top) and my redesign as a #RaspberryPi hat 😎 It’s the #AtariLynx cartridge programmer board. Anyone wanting to make their own Lynx carts? 🤓 #RetroConsoles #RetroGames #HardwareHacking #WPUGamers

The new SLS printed shells from @3DPRINTUK. I must say, they are very nice! Its an unusual surface finish. It's weirdly warm and soft compared to injection molded parts. I'll do a quick follow up video when I get a chance taking a better look at them! 🙂
