Very cool. This is something schools should be doing, we have a real lack of bare bones low level knowledge of computers in the world. It just seems second nature to me to know about bits and bytes, but many "younger" professionals don't actually have a clue. This scares me! 😆
If you are feeling nostalgic on the 40th anniversary of the launch of the Sinclair ZX80, why not build your own with a Minstrel 2 kit. (or a Minstrel 3 if you prefer the luxury of a ZX81 compatible kit).

I love @strangepartscom videos looking through the industrial and electronic markets in China. To me it's a like a sweet shop to a kid, absolutely amazing! We don't even have Maplin stores anymore.

The new Lynx GameDrive cart now supports EEPROM save game data!

This is a feature used in many homebrew games and a welcome addition to the GameDrive! EEPROM images are saved back to your memory card along with the game.

I’ve been wanting to build a tiny 68000 based computer for many years. No idea what I’d ever use it for, but that’s not the point... 😆 Building stuff just because you can is part of the fun! 😄
MGC workshop project plan - a Z80 with 64k SRAM that is loaded at boot by an ATMEGA32U4 which also acts as a USB UART connection among other things. Slits in PCB so you can wear it like a badge and care edge expansion at bottom. $75 workshop cost target.

A video showing building and testing the latest Lynx GameDrive cartridge with specific focus on how I deal with solder fine pitch SMD stuff while suffering from essential tremor. It's quite long... lots of waffling and soldering! 😆

I’m sure this will be of interest of everyone, so worth a retweet! Yes, the 7800 cart will be coming. I’m still sorting out everything required to outsource production and sales of the Lynx, NeoGeo Pocket and Jaguar carts, so that comes first.
