Mega Multi

Compatible with Atari Pinout Computers

Description

The RetroHQ Mega Multi is a controller adapter which allows you to use your Master System and Mega Drive controllers with your Atari pinout compatible computers. This includes Master System control pads, joysticks and also the light phaser as well as 3 and 6 button Mega Drive pads and sticks.

The Mega Multi has four different operating modes which are selected and / or configured via the connected controller to support a wide range of computers. The four modes (standard, alternate, CD32 and light gun) allow the Mega Multi to work with the Atari ST, Atari XL/XE, Amiga, CD32 (7 button), C64, VIC20 and Spectrum (Kemptson interface) computers. Where computers can support more than one button (XL/XE, Amiga, C64, Kemptson) then the Mega Multi will allow you to use up to 3 buttons in your games (game dependant, where supported). In addition, it is also possible to map a second button to UP for games which support UP to jump, greatly improving playability. Support for extended SELECT and START buttons (MSX style) are also supported for computers / games which support this feature!

Light gun support is available for the Atari XL/XE, Amiga and C64 computers. For the Amiga support for Trojan and Actionware controllers is selectable. For the C64 support for Magnum, Cheetah, MARPES and Stack are selectable. On the Atari XL/XE the standard Atari light gun is supported.

The Mega Multi also offers individually configurable auto-fire on any button with four selectable speeds. The auto fire has an initial delay period before starting, so even with auto fire enabled you an navigate in-game menus without having to turn it off.
